Terms & Privacy
When I created this little world, I fell in love with the idea of ad-free and privacy focused, and that's what I focused on with each area inside of the world. There are zero ads, there is minimal information collected, and nothing is shared with or sold to third parties for any form of monetization.
The Node World (theworldnode.com and theworldnode.net) are both owned and operated by only myself, Burke I. Zizzi, under ZiZZiSTUDiO Productions. The entirety of this application was built only by me with AI-assistance. There is no AI integrated into ZiZZiSTUDiO, TheWorldNode.com, or TheWorldNode.Net. However, there are parts of The Node World that were extremely complex puzzles in which Claude Code was used to configure.
This entire HTML5 application uses no third parties and was built entirely in Sublime Text Editor on Ubuntu Desktop 24.04. This was built with 100% hand-written and AI-assisted HTML, CSS, PHP and vanilla (plain) JavaScript. No React, no frameworks, no plugins, no analytics and no third parties whom may potentially collect data. Everything is in-house, keeping your data private and secure.
Below, you will see a comprehensive list of the data we collect, when we collect it, and what it is used for. To keep it simple if you wish to stop reading: we collect basic information about you upon creating an account, small technical information about your device and connection, and absolutely nothing that can be used to personally identify you in any way, shape, or form. The basic things we do collect are standard for security and development.
Collected Information
— Your IP Address: whether you are logged in as a guest, or you have an account, your IP address is recorded for security purposes. Please note that your IP address is public anywhere you go on the web and cannot be used to identify you.
— Email Address: if you decide to create an account, we ask you to provide us with an email to verify you are not a robot. Email updates may be sent to you in the future, which will provide an "Unsubscribe" button to stop receiving.
— Public Name: if you decide to create an account, we will ask for a public display name, your "username." This will be displayed publicly within various parts of The Node World, as well as TheNodeWorld.Net should you create content.
— Profile Information: profiles are filled with questionnaires, as well as a slot for three (3) photo URLs or uploads. Any information you provide or photos you upload is at your will. These areas are not needed, required or mandatory.
Cookies & Session Data
A session is created when you login, and will remain active until you sign out or close the window. If you decide to "Stay Logged In," a cookie is placed to let you easily hop right back. This is not a harmful cookie, or a cookie that tracks and/or collects any data. This is simply to tell your browser that it's okay to keep your session active and avoiding the need to keep logging in.
Account & Information Deletion
You are in complete control of this. Under your account settings, you will see an option to delete your account. When you do this, everything you've created, written or posted will be deleted also. Your objects can be deleted at your own will without deleting your entire account by using the object deletion tool. There is not an object type that cannot be deleted as long as you are the creator.
Contact Form Policy
Should you need to use the contact form, the information requested is a name to address you by, your email address for a reply, a subject/reason for the message, and the body of the message. When you send a message, your IP address is recorded for security purposes and added to the bottom of your message. Your IP address is not saved or stored in our database, however, it will be saved for as long as the email is not deleted.
